Spring arrives quietly in Montana. One morning, the patio doors slide open, the windows lift, and the line between home and mountain begins to disappear. Fresh air drifts through the rooms, carrying the scent of pine and thawing earth, and suddenly the peaks that watched over us all winter feel as though they’ve stepped inside, becoming part of daily life once again.

The verdant green of spring has a way of calling us outdoors. Hands in the soil, seeds in the ground, we begin preparing for the months ahead; not just for harvest, but for family dinners, laughter on the porch, and the timeless ritual of gathering beneath an endless Big Sky.

Montana may claim the Last Best Place, but Wyoming shares the same endless sky. The horizon stretches a little farther, the wind carries the same stories, and the light settles across the land with a familiar grace. Out here, state lines matter less than the feeling that there's still room to breathe, wander, and belong.

The days stretch a little longer. Green returns to the hillsides. The kind of quiet that settles in after a long winter finally gives way to birdsong, flowing water, and open windows. In Montana, spring and summer aren't just seasons, they're a reminder that life is always finding its way back, bringing with it fresh starts, warm evenings, and the simple joy of being home in the woods.
