We are currently working hard to help those impacted by hurricane Ian. A few things you should know, if you are in the unfortunate position to have to demolish your home as a result of the storm; be sure you use a licensed contractor. Do not pay for the work before the work is performed. Some contractors are requesting a deposit, and this is understandable. However, such as in our case, the deposit we are requesting is only the amount of the permit required in your jurisdiction. That is generally a few hundred dollars at most. And is the only money we put out before we start the work, so we do that, to protect us from spending the money then having a customer change their mind about us performing the work for any reason and us losing that money. So if you are inquiring with anyone, just be sure you feel comfortable about it, if you don’t, step back and ask around. It’s ok to take an extra few days to find the right people to do the work. Everyone is working to get the job done as quickly, safely, and in a way to ease your stress. Feel free to contact us for advice and assistance, even if you don’t want us to perform your work.
