On this project we:

⭐️ Removed nearly 5 dump trailer loads worth of pea gravel from the beds 🪨

⭐️Re-edged all garden beds

⭐️ Installed nearly 60 various 🌱plants🪴 and 🌼flowers🌸 including spirea, weigela, hydrangeas, day lillies, allium, barberry, cherry blossoms and much, much more!

⭐️ installed 2600 square feet of w**d barrier fabric

⭐️ Installed 3 truck loads of fresh black mulch!

⭐️Built walkways for easy access to the garage and pool

Big thank you to Dan Spring at Pleasant Valley Greenhouses and Nursery for the design and plants!

Cant wait to see what this looks like next spring when everything is in full bloom! 🌻

Pro Tip 💡

Cutting your grass too low can cause damage, here’s how:

Cutting too low strips the grass of its ability to photosynthesize leaving it without the ability to obtain nutrients.

If you cut too low, the grass will attempt to regrow quickly which causes inadequate root development, leading to low tolerance to heat and drought.

Once the grass has been weakened by cutting too low it becomes more susceptible to being overtaken by w**ds and moss.
