We took on this job that someone had started in the heart of the rainy season. We had PLENTY of set backs, but we persevered! It seemed like everytime we got close to finishing it would start to rain and we’d have to back up! All in all, it cane out nice and we got it in shape. First, we went in and burned the cleared trees and raked any sticks that were left. We then pulled down one levee and utilized the existing irrigation canal on the north side to cut a new “V” ditch on the south side. As always, we dug the topsoil around the pond to make sure we have a good seal and the water doesn’t seep out through the topsoil…a practice often overlooked. We installed a huge house and shop pad 3 ft above existing grade. We also cut the topsoil along the road to insure a solid foundation upon entry, another detail that most don’t catch. When we were done we pulled topsoil to the edges of the culverts to promote grass growth to help with erosion at the ends of the culvert. It took us quite a bit more time than what we like but unfortunately, we can’t control the weather. At the end of the day it still had to get done without cutting corners! We ALWAYS strive to do our best even in the worst of conditions. If something like this is in your future give us a chance to earn your business. You won’t be disappointed! 3372775955
