I'll have some chocolate chip + walnut cookies at the roadside stand Saturday, along with the usuals - chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, and cinnamon chip scones. Bright and early at 8 o'clock!

I did not use support netting for my snapdragons, so most of them fell over and have crooked stems. I'm not mad about it though, because aren't these cute??

Much has happened in the months since I set out to make my roadside stand/farmer's market dreams a reality. What *hasn't happened is a whole lot of the gardening I planned to do in order to bring it all to life. So while I continue to crank out baked goods for Saturdays at the roadside stand, I will pick an occasional arrangement of wonky flowers for myself and know that someday everything I'm learning in this season will pay off.

Send me a message by noon tomorrow (Thursday, July 16) to order your goodies for the weekend. I will have them ready for pickup at the stand FRIDAY morning, or I can deliver within a reasonable distance.
