In scripture, God often compares His people to a vineyard. The vinedresser carefully prunes each branch- not to harm the plant, but to make it bear more fruit. Pruning seasons in our lives can be painful, yet they are proof that God sees potential in us.

Gods Roadwork
When the apostles traveled to share the good news, they traveled on the Roman roads. These were stone roads that were well built long before anyone dreamed of preaching the gospel. These roads were built with the purpose of making commerce accessible and war victorious. Sometimes God is preparing our paths long before we have the ability to understand why. What may seem ordinary to us- a change in job, relationship or unforeseen delays- might be the very roadwork he is building for something eternal.

We wrapped up the week with this grading and sod job in Flowood, MS. This customer had some old landscape beds removed and wanted to go back with a cleaner look. This Saint Augustine sod will enjoy its new home!
