A multi-layered coating system installed over the existing metal roof at a substantial cost savings compared to a full metal roof replacement.

This project is being completed in phases to ensure minimal disruption to operations while delivering maximum long-term protection. Once fully installed, the roof will feature a bright white, energy-efficient finish designed to reflect UV rays, reduce heat absorption, and lower overall cooling costs.

Best of all, the coating system is backed by a 10-year UV protection guarantee, providing durability, performance, and peace of mind for years to come.

Another commercial roofing project successfully completed. ✅

This building is now protected with a new insulated TPO roofing system installed directly over the existing metal roof, providing a durable, watertight solution without the need for a full tear-off. This system not only enhances long-term performance and weather resistance, but also significantly improves energy efficiency by increasing insulation value and reflecting UV rays — helping reduce heating and cooling costs year-round.

We’re proud of the coordination that went into delivering this project safely and securely.

We are now a second-generation roofing and general contracting services company. Originally founded in the mid-80s, United Roofing & Construction is the oldest continually-operating name in residential roofing in the Central Mississippi area. We now offer both commercial and residential services, and hold all appropriate licensing and insurance requirements.

We have never intended to be the largest operation in our market, as we believe our relationship with roofing and construction should be just as strong as our relationship with our families and God.

Our business model allows us to keep our overhead lower than our large competitors, while maintaining comparable levels of competence at a better price-point with more attention detail, the customer, and their problem being solved.

Madison, MS and just about every other part of the Jackson-Metro area has been experiencing record amounts of hail and severe weather in the last 4 years.

Many homeowners have already been through the claims process, receiving new roof replacements - yet continue to experience hail and severe weather events in the months and years following.

This is not something to be stressing over, fortunately newer asphalt shingles hold up better in hail events than those that are starting to age.

So don’t rush to file a claim! Always seek out a local, licensed and reputable roofing company if you are concerned with the integrity of your roofing system - even if it is a newer one.

One more thing.. There are too many new “companies” and “contractors” - and we are not speaking to any specific individual or group - that are pushing for too many claims to be filed when we are in a delicate situation right now with our available carriers here in Mississippi.

Many drastically altered their policies at the beginning of this year, while others are dropping current policy holders due to the “frequency of severe weather events” in (local) zip code. We have also been seeing situations where new policies are beginning to be structured in ways much different than how they have always been written and sold here.

Policies with large deductibles - sometimes based on a percentage of the value of the home - and policies that are “ACV” only, which means recoverable depreciation will not be reimbursed upon completion of the claim, leaving the homeowner(s) to foot the major difference out of their own pockets.. etc

If you are unfamiliar with any of these terms then please study into your policy.
