TIP...
Pressure washers should ONLY be used on decks/raw wood and brick/concrete.. If EVER aimed at a house or windows it should be far enough away as to not be putting pressure on the house and only rinsing. Also around the freeze board area (brick house) this and your sofit vents go STRAIGHT into the sofit and possibly the attic.
Also.. do not let someone use a bleach only solution a knowledgeable and professional will spend the money ($20/gallon) on a mildecide /fungicide and take time to move/ cover plants and furniture...
I am a painter with 22 yrs experience, have to wash to paint, I see what both straight bleach and direct pressure do to the painted surfaces. BTW that 22 yrs belongs to me... not like some claiming 10 yrs (what they do not tell you is they did it for someone else 10 yrs ago...or.... they have 10 people each with a yr or less..(SEEN LOTS OF NEW TRUCKS IN AREA) this is good but pay attention...
And finally, the pressure washer is and OLD trick to FORCE painting by blistering the wood, and that is not a $2000 expence I would want to come up with.. Yes it may need painting but using the right process and having someone who is not JUST a washer but knowledgeable about paint and maintenance of your house, could allow you the advance notice and time to save/plan for the expense..
I will add, pressure is ok on painted surfaces if they have been neglected to the point of paint needing scraped..... if you need a wash or paint please feel free to text me at six0one966385seven. If you call leave a message I will not answer unknown calls due to spammers.
