We almost moved the chairs out of the way for this shot. Then we realized they were the whole story.
Chances are the homeowners had already spent a lot of time sitting in this exact spot while their custom home took shape around them. Watching the framing go up and taking in the lake view that made them fall in love with this property in the first place.
At this point, it was still a jobsite. Exposed framing, unfinished ground, tools scattered around. But moments like this are a reminder that a custom home starts feeling like home long before the final walkthrough.
As custom home builders, we spend a lot of time thinking about the finished product. Our homeowners spend that time dreaming about life inside it. This photo feels like both of those things meeting in the middle.
