Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Today while our crew was working at a neighboring property our foreman noticed the neighbor was struggling to keep her mowing running and decided to go over and help her out. He went ahead and mowed her yard for her at no charge so she could get out of the heat and be with her two boys.

He wasn’t looking for a pat on the back he was just wanting to help someone out.

We’re proud to have team members who understand lawncare is more than mowing grass. It’s about serving our community and looking out for one another and doing the right thing when no one is watching.

Britt and I are very thankful for a great crew who represent 1st Choice Lawn Care with kindness, respect and always willing to lend a helping hand!

Moments like this are times people will remember long after that grass grows back, especially her two young boys who seen a young man step up and help out their mother in a time of need. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This was a two part project with this being phase one. We will share phase two in a seperate post!

We sat down with these great folks down in Staunton and they had some ideas on what they wanted. We took their thoughts and added our spin to make the beautiful landscaping you see here.

We prepped the existing and added new landscaping beds and then added the weathered fieldstone edge rocks all around. We trimmed back perennials, trimmed bushes/tree, then planted a couple new trees and moved around some plants; we installed some oversized river rock to give it a custom look that looks straight out of Tennessee!

Our crew re-worked their lawn and planted new seed to allow the proper growth you see in the after photos. This is about a 2 month difference in the photos to show the growth from proper prep, seed installation and watering program.

This was a huge project that we had alot of fun doing! The transformation this landscaping upgrade made was huge for this property!

We updated the landscaping by removing old plants but keeping some. We installed some new bushes and shrubs that will be low maintenance but still keep a great appearance!

Our crew installed some beautiful black granite rock all around to really add some uniqueness and elegance that make this one stand out!

We were able to fix a couple underground drain pipes and also brought in multiple loads of dirt and top soil to fix and grade out the yard from previous septic work.

Finally we seeded everything and got them setup with sprinklers.

After coming back out and seeing the new grass growing- it really brings this one full circle ✅

Out with the old and in with the new 🤩

This project started by removing all the old bushes, vegetation, brick edgers and debris from the landscaping beds.

We then tilled everything up and got it smoothed out to perfection. A natural edge was cut into the beds to let the mulch have a good resting place so it’s not falling out into the yard.

Our crew installed a premium landscape barrier to help with w**d control while still allowing for adequate water drainage.

Bushes, shrubs and some hostas were planted then we finished off with installing some beautiful black shredded mulch ✅

Take a look at this awesome job we knocked out this week 🤩

We ripped out all of the old timbers and almost all were completely rotted out 😬

We installed some brand new black plastic timbers. These should last a very long time 👍🏼

We graded and added some beautiful new white rock for both driveway areas to finish things off!

There is something very satisfying about a cleanup that completely changes the look and feel of a property 😁

John and Mary had a list of projects and cleanup items they wanted taken care of, and we were able to get everything knocked out for them. From overgrown areas to detailed cleanup work/mulch and even some custom built flower boxes - the difference in the appearance of the property was night and day.

We always appreciate repeat customers like the Moores who trust us with these projects.

Thanks again for having us out and we can’t wait for pictures when those flower boxes are full and blooming 🌺🌷🌻

🚨 Stop and take a look at these before and afters 🚨

Our crew removed all of the old plants and vegetation that the customer requested to be taken out! By doing this, it allowed for room to install the new bushes and shrubs, also made things more open and less crowded.

We removed all the old wood timber edging and cut in a brand new natural edge that looks sharp and straight as an arrow 🏹

After all that we installed new premium w**d barrier and finished it off with some beautiful charcoal granite rock.

This new look really changed the look of their property and we are proud to be apart of that!

Big thanks to the Reynolds for letting us handle this project and we are glad you were very pleased with it 😁 ✅
