was founded in August 2010 by Chris Blackwell. Our primary focus was bringing low voltage service to the local commercial industry. Only five short months later Blackwater Technologies gained distributing rights from Honeywell and several other significant companies in the market. Our business seemed to take flight and within our first fiscal year we had accumulated approximately 1.4 million dolla

rs in business. We were given the chance to expand in 2012 to Alabama, this branch services the whole state of Alabama. Blackwater Technologies also provides service to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. Blackwater takes special care to keep our employees well trained and up-to-date on all of the latest compliance codes and technology. Our employees have had safety training such as First Aid, CPR, and lift training. We also offer continuing educational courses to keep our employees on track with all of the latest products and procedures in our industry. Here we are trained to assess code compliance for fire and life safety hazards that many customers may not be aware of. Our training stems from NFPA, OSHA, GAFSED, and NICET for experience to cover all different types of facilities.
