Another look at our Bainbridge Island addition. 🔨

Last time we shared this project, the wall framing and roof structure were going up. Now the exterior is taking shape, with siding and windows in place. You can get a much clearer sense of how the new space fits with the home.

There’s still work ahead, but it’s exciting to see this addition come together from every angle. Follow along for the next update!

Over the weekend, we brought this house down to make way for a brand-new home.

The existing 900-square-foot house was flatended so say the least, and will be replaced with an approximately 1,400-square-foot split-level home designed around the property and the homeowner’s needs.

A project like this involves much more than construction. Our team helps coordinate the permitting, design, engineering, architectural plans, demolition, and full build from start to finish.

Phase One is complete. Stay tuned as we take this property from teardown to a brand-new home.👷🏠

Say hello to Chelsea Peters 👋

Chelsea Anne Peters joined Joyce Construction as our in-house designer in February 2025. Originally from California, she has called Kitsap home for 12 years and is a busy mother of five.

Chelsea helps shape how Joyce Construction & Kitsap Roof Pros show up in our community, designing and building out our booths for home shows, local events, and the recent Kitsap Fair. Outside of work, she enjoys playing pickleball.

Keep an eye out for Chelsea at our next community event!

Work in progress. 🔨
This outdoor living project has been years in the making.
After losing the only shade tree in their backyard, these homeowners decided it was finally time to cover their outdoor kitchen and patio area.

With the design now in place, our team is bringing it to life. The main beams are set, structural connections are going in, and the new covered space is taking shape.

More to come...
