HMK had the wonderful opportunity to complete renovations and additions for McMurray Middle School back in 2019. This year, MMS has been recognized with a 2026 Tennessee STEM Designation! We’re so proud to have been a part of this project and we can’t wait to see how this school continues to positively impact our community and its students!

Meet D’Andre Holmes! Today we are celebrating his one year work anniversary at HMK! 🎉🍾

Dre attended Auburn University and graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture in 2019. In his first year with HMK, he has been involved in several projects; one of his favorites being Invictus Charter School - Donelson First, because he values giving back to the community and investing in our youth who are the future!

Outside of work, Dre considers himself a “nerd” who loves playing video games, watching anime, reading novels, and working out.

Fun fact: Dre loves music and has been known to crowd surf at metal core concerts every now and then! 🎤🏄🏾‍♂️

📸TEAM SPOTLIGHT📸

Meet Michael Horan! Michael graduated from Clemson University with both his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture, and he recently completed all of his exams to become a licensed architect in the state of Tennessee! 👏🏼 Michael loves serving the healthcare industry - his favorite projects have been with Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Outside of work Michael enjoys drawing, long-distance running, backpacking, cheering on the Nashville Soccer Club, and serving his church community alongside his wife. These days, much of his free time is devoted to his new puppy, Flynn! 🐕

Fun fact: Growing up, Michael’s dream job was to be a Disney animator, which led him to minor in Digital Production Arts while studying architecture at Clemson!
