We’ve had 2 birthdays within the last 2 weeks here!
San Wai, our first high school intern, celebrated his birthday earlier this month. We love San! He instantly became one of the team the week he was here doing his senior project. The guys loved him then and still love him. He likes to learn, has a solid work ethic, and he fits in like a glove. His fun attitude is always appreciated! (Pic of San being his fun loving self-this kid has seriously came out of his shell the past year!)
Beth Loftin Daniels, our queen of EL, she is celebrating today. She keeps all of us somehow in line, makes sure it’s running smoothly, and I’ll always scream her loyalty to Ernie! There’s no other woman I’d rather share my husband with than her. We trust her with every single thing we have and honestly she handles things seamlessly! I love her because she lets me have mental breakdowns, makes me toughen up, and forces me to keep on going while showing the most steadfast compassion when it comes to the weight that we carry. She is irreplaceable to say the least. If you don’t have a “Beth” I’m sorry but, you can’t have ours. (Pic of Beth, her grandson Nathan which is the light of her life, and Ernie “having her back” because that’s what they do best-I love this pic of them as it exemplifies their relationship so much. Every time I see this pic it makes me teary eyed thinking of how much unspoken love, respect, and gratitude these two share.
