We are so excited to announce that we gave our first scholarship last night. Being able to help one young adult to pursue their dream in the field of construction is a true accomplishment of all our hard work.

We are rooting for you Will Valentine and we can not wait to see what the future holds for you.

Will is a volunteer fire firefighter for two departments along the shore. He’s an Eagle Scout as well as junior assistant scout master. Will wrote about his wonderful family and his determination and willingness to fight for this career. We loved the parallels of Wills journey and Tim’s. We both could not imagine a better person our first scholarship to go to. Congratulations, Will!!

Family-operated Carpentry Contracting Business located in Monmouth County, NJ. Quickly expanding and in need of skilled carpenters with 3+ years of experience:

Required Skills:
• Read & interpret plans
• Converse & coordinate with onsite superintendents, clients, and subcontractors
• Layout
• Light and heavy gauge metal framing
• Wood framing
• Sheetrock
• Tape & spackle (not required but will definitely put you ahead other applicants)
• Acoustical ceiling grid and ceiling tiles
• Hollow metal frames, doors, and hardware
• Toilet accessories & fire extinguishers/cabinets

Applicants must have:
• The uncanny ability to speak & read English
• A bank account (direct deposit only)
• Ability to complete state and federal employment documents
• Reliable cell phone and email address
• Safe and reliable mode of transportation
• Common carpentry tools

***Do not apply if:
• You are dependent on substances
• You can NOT pass a background check (as required by some Clients)
• You can NOT work Throughout NJ and as far as Allentown, PA and portions of DE
• You can NOT work After-hours (typically 5PM to 12AM)
• You can NOT work Double shifts
• You can NOT work Occasional Weekends

Hourly rates between $25 and $50 are based on experience and value brought.
