Cook Construction & Renovation

Imagine you're making breakfast for the kids...when water begins to flood through the ceiling of your kitchen.

Unfortunately, our Broomfield clients don't need to use their imagination. When this happened last year, they found themselves needing a new kitchen and master bathroom.

Our team rebuilt both rooms, with the floors covered and the work closed off, so the family could stay in their home.

If it happens to you, Keith walks through the first hours and the insurance side here:

When you start a construction business, everyone suddenly begins to ask you questions about their home projects. So we gave them a place to ask. “Ask Keith” is now live on our website, and the first question is a good one: can you put carpet in a bathroom?

Keith's answer? If you have carpet in your bathroom, there’s mold underneath it - it’s guaranteed.

Got a question of your own? Drop it in the comments, or click the button on the blog!

Ask Keith the Contractor: Are Carpets a Problem in Bathrooms? Hi friends, Caleb here. A few weeks ago, Keith and I sat down to talk about a common question for Denver homeowners in older neighborhoods. If you live in WashPark, or CapHill, or even some of the older neighborhoods in Arvada or Northg

Check out some of these fun sneak-peeks from a project in Westminster! Our clients asked us to transform two upstairs bathrooms simultaneously. We're loving the challenge of this interlacing accent pattern!

Huge shoutout to our friend Manny at American Star Embroidery for these yard signs! Local business, 25+ years in the Denver metro, and they knocked it out of the park.

And a big thank you to the clients and CCR friends who let us use their yard space to highlight what we do. It is a huge help for our small business. If you want to get in on the action and champion CCR, dm us!

A little splash of color goes a long way in this Westminster basement. We love how this wet bar combines custom-built shelves with all the essentials for hosting - including a mini dishwasher, beverage fridge, and plenty of storage.

One of our favorite spaces from this project.

Long-time family homes are our favorite projects. Nick's house had been in the family for over 50 years. We completely transformed it for the next era of their family's time in the house.

Thanks for the recommendation, Nick!

A few faux beams later...and this Todd Creek living room feels a whole lot cozier. Our clients loved their beautiful vaulted ceilings, but the height felt a little cold. So we brought it down and warmed it up with wood. Love the final effect!

Another week, another fun project. The team is currently working on this doorway transformation in Reunion, and we're excited to see how it changes the main floor for our client's family. Check back for the final results in a couple days!

Sometimes, you just have to take the first step...and God does the rest. Keith started a handyman LLC to support his family during the pandemic - and after a call from his pastor, he found himself remodeling an entire bathroom. Now, CCR manages multiple clients at a time and has renovated whole homes.

It's rarely the *perfect* time to start a business, but that first step opens you up to countless opportunities God can provide.
