Summer is at its peak – a perfect opportunity to explore the stunning landscape designs crafted by our partner, Raycroft-Meyer Landscape Architecture. JMC played a significant role in bringing Raycroft-Meyer’s Master Plan to life for a client, starting with the design of their porch architecture and terraces as Phase I of the project. The last four images highlight the work completed at this Berkshire residence, and we eagerly anticipate future collaborations with their team.
Raycroft-Meyer approaches design as a journey of discovery and transformation, firmly believing that thoughtfully designed landscapes can inspire and cultivate a deeper appreciation of the natural world. Each project, regardless of its size or scope, receives meticulous attention to detail, with the primary objective of addressing the design challenge and making a positive, enduring impact on the land.
Their process begins with an in-depth understanding of the site, including its regional, social, cultural and environmental systems and characteristics — collectively known as the ‘spirit of place.’ These elements provide the foundation for an initial design concept and diagram which is further developed in layers with tangible design components, resulting in a composition that is unique to each project.
The team at Raycroft-Meyer fosters a close working relationship with clients within their intimate office environment, ensuring a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere throughout the design process. All preliminary plans and sketches are crafted by hand, maintaining a dynamic and personal client experience. For more information, please visit www.raycroft-meyer.com.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with JMC at every level of each project. The entire team at JMC conducts their work with the highest level of professionalism. They have always been respectful of the designer's role and are positive and effective facilitators with all trades and clients throughout the term of a project. The quality of their work is top notch, and we would readily recommend them to anyone.” – Peter Morrow Meyer, President, Raycroft-Meyer Landscape Architecture
