Hardwood floor installation/refinishing
Finished basement with reclaimed yellow heart pine flooring. Sanded and finished with Bona waterbase finish.
1st we screened and palmsanded edges, vacuumed and applied bostic roll coat moisture barrier to basement floor. 2cnd skim coated 20 gallons of bostic floor leveler and left to dry.
Next day applied Bona R540 moisture barrier let dry and started installing 90 year old yellow heart pine flooring with Bona R851 trowel glue with full coverage. This is how to install a solid wood flooring to concrete slab. This wasn’t possible years ago but with today’s technology we can make it happen.

We removed all carpet and baseboards and installed new 3/4” solid prefinished golden oak flooring.
Reinstalled all baseboards, caulked and filled nail holes and replaced large furniture items back in place.
