In light of this year’s Construction Safety Week theme “All In Together,” our employees gathered for Huen Electric’s Safety Day celebration. With food, vendors, and safety-oriented conversations, the day served as a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the value that lives at the heart of our company: safety.

February is American Heart Month, a time for us to adjust our lifestyles to take better care of our bodies and increase our heart health. This is especially important for members of the construction industry, as one out of every 25 construction workers have already been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease.

This month, let’s support each other in taking steps to build heart-healthy habits into our days such as:

• Getting enough sleep, which helps prevent high blood pressure and other types of heart conditions
• Eating healthy to lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels
