How durable is polished concrete? We are grinding off this polished floor and it is taking up to two passes with an 850 pound planetary grinder to remove the color and stain protector. The 7" grinder with 30/40 grit cup wheels is also taking two passes.

If the floor can stand up to grinders - it will stand up to you.

Today we are removing a polished concrete floor by grinding it to create a CSP or concrete surface profile of 2-3.

We do surface prep work for a handful of epoxy installers and the tenant here is getting a metallic epoxy floor installed. That's why we are grinding a previously polished floor.

This client had a water leak and the insurance company had the glue down engineered wood floor removed by another flooring contractor - but the adhesive kicked their butt. We got the call and we will done in a a few hours.

Three weeks of grinding, honing and polishing. It's not all burnished yet but it's almost there.
