A customer purchased a house and after two days, the sewer backed up! Apparently she was told the house was on city sewer, but unfortunately, she was on a failed septic system.
This headache could have been avoided if a camera would’ve been used to inspect the sewer system before buying the home.
Luckily, we were able to tie into the main city in the alleyway.
I always recommend having a plumber scope the sewer line and to have a sewer hydrostatic test done before purchasing a house.
