Traffic Alert for
Attention residents and visitors!
Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, contractors will be working on the traffic signals at the
📍US-259A South intersection/park entrance.
They will be taking down the existing traffic lights to switch over to the new mast arm signals that were installed last week.
🔹 What to Expect:
- Temporary stop signs will be in place
- Treat the intersection as a four-way stop
Please plan accordingly as the signals will be down long enough to switch them out.

🚧SPILLWAY MAINTENANCE
Tuesday, June 30, the US Army Corps of Engineers will be completing maintenance on the Broken Bow Lake Spillway. In order to safely complete these maintenance items both lanes of the State Highway 259-A spillway crossing will be temporarily closed from 7:30am – 4:00pm. In order to access Beavers Bend State Park during this time, please utilize the south entrance of State Highway 259-A. (Remember, temporary 4-way stop🛑)
Digital road closure notification signs will be set up and staff will be on site as available to assist visitors seeking to access the park during this time.
