Hochatown VFD would like to announce that due to the upcoming Solar Eclipse event on Monday, April 8th, 2024, the Hochatown Volunteer Fire Department will be staffed 24 hours a day from Friday, April 5th through Tuesday, April 9th.

We are also welcoming any other First Responders to stop by & allowing the use of our facilities as a base station if needed.

We are asking for your continued support in our department & would be grateful for any donations received whether they be snacks, drinks (gatorade/water), or monetary donations so that we may buy food for the firefighters for the week.

Our Board Chairman is issuing a challenge to the community. He is donating $100 & is challenging any other Friends of HVFD, locals, business owners, or cabin owners to match or exceed his contribution!

Please accept the Chairman’s Challenge and comment with your pledge and encourage others to do so as well. A donation link is provided for your convenience, or you may drop off donations at the station.

Your assistance to the Firefighters will in turn help to support our entire community throughout this extraordinary event.
