🚨 Newton County Community — Storm Cleanup Help 🚨

First off, I hope everyone in our community is safe after the tornado that came through our area. I’m heartbroken to see this great community take a hit like this. Storms like this can leave a lot of damage behind, and I know many families are dealing with fallen trees, limbs, and debris around their homes.

I also want to remind everyone to be CAUTIOUS of door-knocking companies that show up after storms. Unfortunately, many of them are not licensed, bonded, or insured in Newton County, which can leave homeowners at risk.

My company, TK Interiors & General Construction LLC, is licensed, bonded, and insured in Newton County, and we are committed to helping our local community the right way.

As a small local company with LIMITED manpower, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how I can still make a meaningful impact for our neighbors during this time. Here’s what I’ve decided to do to help:

🟢 FREE 16-yard dumpster for storm cleanupFor the next week, I’m offering my 16-yard dumpster completely free of charge for tree branches and limb cleanup to help families get their yards cleared after the storm.

🟢 Discounted debris removalIf you have garbage debris or construction debris, I’ll also be offering heavily discounted rates to help keep cleanup affordable.

‼️Another successful project completed in Cedar Lake, Indiana!‼️

Here’s a 24’ x 24’ home addition that we did, that expanded the living space and added more comfort for this homeowner.

This project included:
• Enlarging two existing bedrooms
• Adding a brand new bedroom
• Adding a family room for extra living space

Our team handled everything from start to finish — from excavation and foundation work all the way to the final grade and seeding. It’s always rewarding to take a project from the first scoop of dirt to the finished product ready for the homeowner to enjoy.

This project was a great reminder that we don’t just do interiors — at TK interiors & General Construction, we truly handle all aspects of construction, which is why General Construction is right in our name.

For this home, we removed the old storm windows and rotten wood windows and upgraded the house with beautiful, energy-efficient Andersen 100 Series windows. The difference in both appearance and performance is huge.

What a transformation on this beautiful home! We took this exterior from gray siding to crisp white board & batten, paired with bold black soffit, fascia, and windows for a clean, modern farmhouse look.

Today marks 5 years!! 🤯 Crazy how fast time flies!

5 years ago, I left my good paying career I had started and set off on this journey! We were new parents with a toddler and another on the way! It was a scary, life changing decision but I had to follow my calling. I love doing this and servicing each and every person I can. We’ve met and worked for some amazing customers over the years, and we wouldn’t be here without all of you!!
