Today was a big day in the progress of the new shelter building. Under the direction of Rien Construction the concrete floor was poured and finished. All of the plumbing and the radiant heat tubing was installed prior to the pour. The water well was dug and completed by Parker Brothers on Monday. We have the electric and gas already run to the building.
With the floor installed, Rien will begin the interior build-out.
We are still hoping for an early Fall opening. We are currently in need of approximately three-hundred thousand dollars to complete the building. We have not taken out any loans. Once we raise the funds the building will be completed.
We have been so fortunate for all of your generosity throughout this project. Thank you! We will be able to care for our resident dogs and cats in a much safer and comfortable environment.
