Esta semana celebramos la graduación de los participantes de MasterBuild 2026, un programa diseñado para fortalecer la estructura empresarial de las pequeñas empresas de construcción y prepararlas para crecer de manera estratégica y sostenible.

Through GHCA’s exclusive “How to Do Business with McCarthy” session, members had a unique opportunity to go 101 with McCarthy’s leadership and key decision-makers. This direct access allowed contractors to hear first-hand what general contractors look for, how prequalification works, and what is required to build strong working relationships.

At GHCA, we focus on creating real access between our members and industry leaders, not just information, but conversations that open doors.

GHCA was proud to represent Georgia’s Hispanic construction industry in Washington, D.C. as part of the National Coalition to Strengthen Federal Contracting Opportunities for Small Businesses.

Alongside partner organizations from across the country, we met with Congressional offices and federal leaders to advocate for greater access and opportunities for small and diverse businesses in the construction industry.

A highlight of the visit was meeting with Allen Gutierrez, Director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) at the U.S. Department of Transportation, to discuss the importance of expanding pathways for small businesses to compete and grow.

We are grateful to the legislators and staff who took the time to engage with our coalition and hear directly from the organizations working to strengthen opportunities for small businesses nationwide.

GHCA remains committed to ensuring the voice of Georgia’s Hispanic construction community is represented where decisions are made and opportunities are created.
