South Coast Lumber Co. and Affiliates proudly announce the donation of a state-of-the-art all-field turf and track facility to Brookings Harbor High School, benefiting students and local community members. This donation is in memory of Ron Fallert, who, with his brother Larry Fallert at his side, created a legacy of generosity and dedication to the citizens of Curry County. In honor of Ron’s legacy, the athletic facility will be named SOCOMI Sports Complex. This designation serves as a tribute to Ron’s enduring influence and philanthropy.
South Coast Lumber Co. and Affiliates understand the importance of investing in the future of our youth and fostering a sense of unity and pride within the community. The new all-weather turf and track will provide a safe, high-quality playing surface for athletes and serve as a gathering place for community events and activities. This initiative will offer students and residents opportunities to develop and enhance essential values, including teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and resilience. These qualities transcend the playing field and will serve individuals throughout their lives. Installation of the facility is scheduled for this summer and is anticipated to be completed before the upcoming football season.
