Pests are welcome to stay outside. Preferably somewhere much farther outside.

Perimeter pest protection targets the areas insects commonly use to approach and enter your home, helping disrupt activity before unwanted guests settle in. It’s a proactive layer of defense around your foundation, entry points and other vulnerable areas.

The lawn you want next spring starts with what you do now.

Fall fertilization helps cool-season turf recover from summer stress, strengthen its root system and store the energy it needs to handle winter. The payoff is a healthier, more resilient lawn that is ready to get growing when spring returns.

Feed your lawn at the time it matters most. Request your estimate at https://hubs.ly/Q04vJ5910.

Brown or thinning grass doesn’t always mean your lawn needs more water.

Late-summer grubs feed below the surface, damaging turf roots and causing sections of grass to feel loose or lift like carpet. You may also notice birds, skunks or other animals digging for an underground snack.

If something seems off, don’t guess. Have the lawn properly evaluated before the damage spreads. Contact LawnMatters at https://hubs.ly/Q04vJgQL0.

Healthy trees and shrubs start below the surface.

Fall feeding replenishes essential nutrients after a demanding growing season and supports the roots responsible for long-term strength, resilience and healthy growth. It’s a smart way to protect the plants that add beauty—and value—to your property.

A national playbook can’t account for every local soil type, weather pattern or pest pressure—and your lawn shouldn’t be treated like it can.

LawnMatters combines decades of experience with firsthand knowledge. That means recommendations built around what actually works here, not a one-size-fits-all program developed somewhere else.

Choose lawn care with local roots. Request your estimate at https://hubs.ly/Q04vJg2p0.

Fall gives new grass its best chance to take hold.

Late summer into early fall brings favorable conditions for seed to germinate and begin developing roots before winter. It is an ideal time to fill thin areas, improve lawn density, and introduce grass varieties better suited to the property’s sun, shade, and traffic patterns.

Overseeding is especially effective when paired with aeration, which improves seed-to-soil contact and allows air, water, and nutrients to move more easily into the root zone.

A thicker spring lawn starts by giving new growth a head start this fall. Explore aeration and seeding with LawnMatters at https://hubs.ly/Q04qXMt40.

Your lawn needs more than time to recover—it needs room.

Summer heat, foot traffic, and compacted soil can leave turf thin, stressed, and slow to bounce back. Aeration opens the soil so air, water, and nutrients can move more freely, while seeding helps fill weak or bare areas with new growth.

Together, they create better conditions for stronger roots and a denser lawn going into next spring.

Give your lawn the space it needs to come back stronger with LawnMatters at https://hubs.ly/Q04qWPB10.

Not every green blade belongs in your lawn.

By late summer, crabgrass and yellow nutsedge can become increasingly noticeable. Crabgrass spreads outward in coarse, low-growing patches, while nutsedge often stands taller than the surrounding turf with bright, upright leaves.

They may both look grassy, but they grow differently and require the correct identification before treatment. Simply mowing them down will not address what is happening below the surface.

When weeds start standing out, LawnMatters can help identify the problem and determine the right next step. Learn more at https://hubs.ly/Q04qWzcR0.
