Last week two training companies were indicted: Valor Consulting and Odessa Safety Inc have both been indicted. Several others are under investigation. Swing Staging Training has been suspended till June 30th 2024.

If you workers have training from indicted companies they may need to retake their training as they have not been properly trained making them a danger to them and others.

If you have a 40hr SST Worker Card you will need 8 hours of training to renew your card for another 5 years. If you have a 62hr SST Supervisor Card you will need 16 hours of training to renew your card for another 5 years. Sign up and complete the training within 12 months of your expiration date. If you do not complete the training BEFORE your card expires you will need to retake ALL the training.

How to Renew your SST Card.... & Scaffold Training

SST Worker & Supervisor Cards have to be expired every 5 years. Important information is listed below:

40hr SST Worker Cards requires 8 hours of training for the renewal.

62hr SST Supervisor Cards require 16 hours of training for the renewal.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT POINT: Training must be completed WITHIN 12 months PRIOR of the cards expiration date.
