Construction about to start on our Tribeca lobby renovation!

Light and materials will bring a sense of domestic warmth and comfort to an otherwise bland space. Highly finished wood paneling set against exposed brick and patinated steel will speak to the urbane character of the place in Downtown Manhattan.

Our task in designing this primary bathroom was to create a place with an assertive character and that is also calm and relaxing. To achieve that, we designed custom paneling and cabinets that nestle the different functions. Tones of blue travel through the room giving a sense of continuity and also distinction of each part. We used white marble from the region to highlight each activity and introduce a comforting texture that is pleasant to touch. Our modern architectural language and details tie everything together, subtly elevating daily rituals.

We are thrilled to be permitted for construction on this historic home in Southampton Village, NY. The house was built ca. 1895 and was home to the artist Larry Rivers from the 1960s until his death in the early 2000s. Our work includes an addition and a thoughtful renovation that respond to the vernacular Queen Anne style of the house. Progress posts TK!
