Progress on our Williamsburg stair renovation. 🪚
New red oak steps, risers, and balusters are going in while we preserve the original handrail and trim. No more creaks! The rail, balusters, and trim will stay black, with stained steps and risers to brighten things up.
Izzy is a master of his craft, while Heidi goes down the research rabbit hole of balusters, grip treads, stains, and finishes. The right materials and products matter.
With owners and tenants still using the stairs, we’re coordinating work and drying times around everyone’s schedules. Nobody’s levitating to their apartment.
