To walk through The Penny Hotel Williamsburg is to be immersed in exuberant plant life, art, and architectural design.

In partnership with Sydell Group and Stonehill Taylor, we integrated robust plantscapes into the 11th floor rooftop restaurant. Surrounding perimeter plantings welcome visitors to gather, linger, and look out over the city. 🏙️

From blank rooftop to living landscape, this project is a full design-build. We worked on the initial concept through installation, planting, and long-term maintenance.

For this home in Midtown Manhattan, through our design-build process, we created a grove of trees with custom recessed containers.

We took advantage of the existing historic steel structure to create something distinctive, an experience to walk through to native trees in the city sky, without visible planters. 🌳
