🏙️ Landmark Co-op Roof Restoration Completed in Downtown Brooklyn

Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration Corp. recently completed the restoration and waterproofing of an approximately 1,600-square-foot flat roof on a landmark co-op building in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn.

Our professional roofing team thoroughly cleaned and prepared the entire roof surface before carefully addressing all vulnerable and problematic areas. Perimeter edges, roof penetrations, open seams, bulkhead transitions and known leakage points were reinforced and sealed with Gorilla Flex waterproofing material.

Following the detailed preparation and repair work, we applied one complete coat of Gaco® liquid silicone roof coating across the entire flat roof, creating a seamless, reflective and durable waterproofing barrier designed to protect the property from moisture intrusion and harsh New York weather.

🏢 Exterior Waterproofing & Masonry Restoration Completed — Astoria, Queens

Another successful exterior restoration project completed by Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration Corp.

Our team thoroughly power-washed the brick façade and the left-side and rear stucco walls. Missing mortar joints were professionally spot-pointed, while all crumbling, cracked, and water-damaged stucco areas were repaired using Type-S waterproofing cement.

We then applied two complete coats of Thorocoat® waterproofing paint, providing a durable, weather-resistant finish and a clean, modern appearance.

All exterior windows were professionally caulked to help prevent water infiltration. The window lintels were scraped, primed, and painted, and all lintel edges were carefully sealed for additional protection.

Our experienced team meticulously cleaned and prepared the entire 1,200-square-foot flat roof. Strategic insulation was installed across the middle section to improve the roof’s pitch, promote proper water drainage, and minimize ponding.

We then installed a premium Johns Manville® modified bitumen roofing system across the entire roof, delivering exceptional durability and dependable weather protection.

Our experienced team thoroughly cleaned and power-washed two rear flat roofs, preparing each surface for a premium waterproofing application. All roof edges, seams, and penetrations were professionally sealed with Karna-Flex® to reinforce vulnerable areas and prevent water infiltration.

We then applied two complete coats of Gaco® 100% liquid silicone roofing material, creating a seamless, reflective, and durable waterproof barrier across both roofs.

Additionally, the rear extension stucco wall was carefully power-washed, existing masonry cracks were repaired, and Thorocoat® waterproofing paint was applied for enhanced protection and a clean, refreshed appearance.
