We have now added “mobile powder coating “ and detail blasting to our arsenal. We are the first trained and certified applicators of this phenomenal coating in the state. We have also acquired a top of the line detail blaster for delicate items such as antique furniture. I can literally remove the writing on a cigarette without tearing the paper. We can blast using any aggregate, wet or dry, soda, glass,sand, Garnett, coal slag, walnut shell, etc. We are highly experienced, compliant with the”clean marina consortium” and experts in our field. Not to brag but .... no wait a minute, that’s a lie, I am bragging but this 2017 Tritoon came in to me ugly and the aluminum hulls had been totally coated with a copper based anti-fouling ablative. If you remember a little thing from science class called “the nobility of metals”, this was a big no no. The copper increases the corrosion rate of the aluminum exponentially and there were pinholes that were completely perforating the hulls. We blasted the hulls to clean bright metal, repaired the pitting,coated above the waterline with a zinc based primer topped with a gloss black industrial enamel. Below the water line got two thick coats of Petit Protect (2 part white epoxy) followed with some sanding ( and picking off love bugs lol)and two coats of white Vivid, a hard shell antiFouling with no heavy metals. Good thing the owner came to me when he did, those hulls would have been toast in a few more months. My Tritoon is 15 years older and doesn’t have a speck of corrosion.
