Holsten Faux FInishes Holsten Faux Finishes is a full service interior/exterior painting service, dedicated specifically to murals, faux finishes, and most wallcoverings.

I am Jonathan, or (Jon), Holsten. I have been painting for more than 20 years, and this coming July, It will be 10 years since becoming my own entity. I have been an artist all my life and I back up my painting and problem solving abilities with a Bachlors of Fine Arts Degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Problem solving is important in this line of work, as I am often asked to recreate colors

, a texture, or a pattern on wallpaper. I have worked with many of the areas best and brightest interior designers, cabinet makers, builders, and restoration services. Most of my work is interior and residential, but I have also done some exteriors and commercial projects as well. In addition to faux finishes, and murals, I also hang most wallcoverings, enamel, stain, varnish, strip and re-finish, brush, roll and spray, and I consider myself to be an expert in color theory and matching. I am a perfectionist. I love what I do, and I am very good at it.
