got its start in 1979 when founder Morris Hursh decided to put his skills and years of experience with a large painting contractor in Lancaster to work in his own business. Phil Hursh, son of Morris and Ruth Ann, has been an integral part of the business and became president of our company in 1999. Growing from three employees when Morris founded our company to nearly 40 today, Hursh Painting has
built a reputation of quality work, care for our customers, and emphasis on safety. The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America have awarded us numerous safety and quality awards. The ABC has also named us an “Accredited Quality Contractor,” recognizing us for dedication in improving the safety, welfare, and education of our employees and improving the communities in which we work and live. Our mantra at Hursh Painting Company, “Painting with Purpose,” extends to all we do in serving our customers and reflects the high standards and values our company was built on.
