Our ✨𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓✨ this week is Amber Southey, the artist behind Resistance Dye House!

Her business began with a simple summer tie-dye project with her daughters and nephew. Her mom, Renee, noticed how much happiness Amber found in creating and encouraged her to turn that passion into something more. After retiring from her career as a 911 dispatcher, Amber did just that!

Now she creates colorful, hand-dyed clothing and accessories using natural fibers and non-toxic dyes, with new pieces added regularly!

Her motto? “Resist the Beige.”
A reminder to step outside the ordinary, embrace color, and wear something that makes you happy!
