Hooper (better known as Bubba) and his wife, Rita own the company. Larry’s family has been in the sawmill and logging business for over 100 years. After high school, Larry went to work full time with his Dad and uncles learning the business. Since that time, he has expanded from one sawmill to three sawmills and has started his own logging operation to furnish logs for his mills. Hooper Hardwoods,

LLC is a buyer of standing timber and logs from the Mississippi River to the Tennessee River. We are centrally located in West Tennessee. Our company is located near the Hatchie River bottom, the heart of the richest timberland in this part of the country. Hooper Hardwoods is a member of the Tennessee Forestry Association and the National Hardwood Lumber Association. Larry and key logging employees have completed the Master Logger Program through the Tennessee Forestry Association and complete continuing education programs as they become available.
