Rent A Ruminant Texas We are an eco-friendly business using goats to clear unwanted vegetation.

We implement the use of goats for a wide variety of services for managing brush control. Some of these include retention pond maintenance, wildfire prevention, crime prevention and many more. This is a green and eco-friendly alternative to managing areas that are not easily maintained with machinery used in normal landscaping operations. Our goats come with 4 hoof drive and will reach many places people and specialized machines cannot.

Today is the last day to see the goats! We will be loading them up and taking them back to the ranch for a short break after working so hard at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center.

Thank you to Houston Life for coming out and seeing us! We always enjoy having KPRC2 Lauren Kelly come out to play with the goats!!

This week the goats are working to help maintain the native grass landscapes along the shorelines of McGovern Lake in the park. Instead of mowing, this approach is a much healthier alternative for these native species and will stimulate the plants to grow back stronger in the springtime.
