My name is Kai Strom and the Strom name has been associated with all types of building construction in the Midwest, including Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and my home state of Wisconsin. I am proud to say that we are located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin where it all started over 100 years ago. SBC Construction specializes in all types of concrete, masonry, stonework, specialized masonry and hardsc

aping. We also specialize in post frame (pole barn) structures. Site preparation is a must, and we have all the necessary earth moving equipment to keep the projects on track. Our carpentry division is partnered with one of the top builders in the Northwoods, widening our ability to diversify in all phases of carpentry from "start to finish". As this company moves forward, I will be adding photos of past and present projects the Strom family has completed, along with some fun history and stories that have been passed down over the years. As the 5th generation, I look forward to meeting new clients and being able to pass down the knowledge that was started by my great-great grandfather who started it all in the mid 1800's.

Wrapped up another ICF basement pour today. Just wanted to give some appreciation to my dad for everything he’s taught me over the years. A lot of people see the finished concrete, but they don’t see the years of experience, problem solving, stress, and hard work behind it all. Growing up around this trade and learning directly from him gave me knowledge and opportunities I’ll always be grateful for.

Building a company together definitely comes with challenges, but being able to work side by side and watch jobs come together like this is something I don’t take for granted. Proud of the work we’re doing and thankful for everything he’s poured into teaching me along the way.
