If you have seen our recent post we would like to come to the community to say that We are not just here to be asking for money. We are here to help heal and pray. This is the school list for him. Anything is appreciated, he doesn’t even a backpack as of yet and is starting school possibly this week.

*He wears a large medium-large shirt depending on the fabric. He likes cool shirts and fitted ones and any guys jewelry. He’s 15 so he wants to look good for school. 🥹😓🩵

This is clothes wise and any extras they will be given to him for Christmas presents since the holidays are right around the corner. 😓🙏🏻💙We are not asking for just money, we just need help getting this kid what he needs. First of all, let me start this by saying, We've seen the awesome power of God and our community and I know we can do this! I would also like to add that an investigation has been opened by DCFS and the police here in Brunswick, Georgia. We are fighting for justice! ❤️ This is worth the read. 😓💙🙏🏻

I am posting for a family who has just taken in a 15-year-old child. A bit of a backstory - This family has been reporting the abuse of a neighborhood child for over a year and a half (the child was barely over 14 years old) and finally something was done after a night (actually 13 years worth) of abuse!! The family has been by this child’s side since the beginning and stepped up to protect and take this child to keep him safe and from aging out into the system. Unfortunately, this whole situation arose very fast and they were already in a tough situation themselves, but this child has bonded with this family and views them as family and vice versa. It was agreed upon with defacs as well as the hospital that after the child’s hospitalizations that he would do best with this family. 💯💙

There is still ongoing legal involvement so I will not disclose much more information on this matter. This child does not even know or fully understand yet the pain he has gone through mentally and physically due to someone that was supposed to protect him! 😓

I am asking for help from the community with assistance for setting up his room, buying clothing, school supplies, therapy costs, and the financial support to be able to take off work for therapy, doctor's appointments, gas, court dates, as well as adjusting to having a growing boy in the home!

Your donation will go towards whatever they need to be able to be with him as much as possible through this pain and journey! We've very carefully decided to lower our goal to $10,000 This will go towards supplies as well as funds to set up a trust for his college fund as he has decided he is finally ready to enter into public schooling and has such a bright future ahead! 🙏🏻 We understand that this is a large amount of money and we do not ask it lightly. The goal is so this family can get the child’s bedroom suite, clothing, school supplies, etc! and even if we do not reach this finacial goal, we want to make every effort that this child receives the support they need to heal and transition into their new lives with your continued prayers and generosity. 🙏🏻

This child’s life has changed dramatically following very tragic event(s) and this family is ready to get him on the road to recovery. ❤️‍

Please consider donating to this fundraiser to help cover the unforeseen new need of an entire setup for a teenage boy, and the other unforeseen costs that will arise during this long road to recovery mentally and even his pathway to becoming a successful young man in the future! We want him to have all the access he can and to show him that the community has NOT forgotten about him.❤️‍🩹

Any amount you can donate will go directly to supporting this family during this unimaginably difficult time.
