E&I team members recently completed a project at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. The team installed fixed 4k cameras around the basketball and volleyball court for sideline replay and multiple fiber optic cable wall jacks for connecting TV production quality cameras. The technology group and electrical service department collaborated and worked together in order to get this job completed. Great job team on the safe and successful completion of this project!

Congratulations, Brandon!

Brandon Thibodaux was recently highlighted by GIS teams supporting EPC and E&I divisions for the great leadership he provided, as well as the work he and his team executed for a project in Venice, LA. Brandon was asked to help push the project on the E&I scope to completion. He immediately accepted the challenge, took the job task head on, and preformed above expectations. GIS E&I Division (Sun Technology) was awarded a Fiber Optic Cabling Project in Illinois for a new industrial client earlier this year. The project consisted of installing roughly 3 miles of single-mode fiber optic cable, 2 thousand feet of directional boring, and fusion splicing the cable for CCTV cameras. The team working on this project were able to begin the completion phase earlier this month with manpower up to about 8 team members. The scope also included collaboration between GIS Engineering and the technology team of our E&I division which has resulted in success of this project thus far.

This project has continued to allow us to expand our service offerings nationwide while also providing a wide-array of E&I solutions for our partners in energy. Great job to the personnel doing an excellent job executing the work for this new client.

As we continue to grow our footprint in the Renewable Energy sector, team members Todd Berthelot (Executive Vice President) and Toby Berthelot (Sun E&I Division Manager) recently attended the Clean Power 2022 "Building the Clean Energy Economy" Conference where many sessions focused discussions and learnings on the green energy process, operations and what support will best suit clients' needs.

We look forward to continuing to grow our Renewable Energy partnerships as we enhance our services within the Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, and Solar Energy sectors.

The Sun E&I Division has been supporting Louisiana State University with all of their electrical and instrumentation needs for over 30+ years now. The team is responsible for all of the maintenance on lighting and high voltage across the entire Baton Rouge campus. We recently spent some time to tour just a few different areas where our team members are actively working including Tiger Stadium, Alex Box Stadium, as well as the Veterinary School. On one major project, John Pauley (Supervisor) has been working with the Vet School to add an additional freezer room where he works hands on to see the project from start to finish. We currently have about 15 team members allocated for all of the needs around campus, which can ramp up to about 30+ during peak activity with additional opportunities to come. Great job to all team members involved in ensuring these projects on the LSU campus are completed safely and efficiently!
