It's still raining in Texas but during a moment of light rain... Outside checking on everything, passion flower is blooming with Gulf Coast Fritillary butterfly caterpillar crawling around, several baby bunnies searching for high ground in a raised bed, an Aztec dove nest, along with a tiny tree frog in the luffa. Stay safe everyone!

After some time out of state with family... We had to catch up on bread. Sub rolls and sandwich bread. And made dried jalapenos.

Many of our plants are native, however the mimosa tree is not. The hummingbirds do love it.

Our boy's birthday Brinkhaven Acres Quality Large Fowl Wyandottes chicks are growing up! This is our second group of checks from them and we are very pleased with them. ...now if we can get the Chick Inn expansion completed 😉
