Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dirtwork Foreman to lead our field crew in mass grading, excavation, and earthmoving operations. This is a working foreman position, meaning the ideal candidate will not only supervise and manage crew members but also operate heavy equipment and work alongside the team daily.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and participate in dirtwork operations, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
• Read and interpret construction plans, grade stakes, and survey layouts.
• Lead and motivate crew members to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards.
• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, graders, and loaders as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to ensure project schedules are met.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and manpower to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and management.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dirtwork, grading, or site development.
• Prior experience as a foreman, lead operator, or crew leader preferred.
• Proficiency operating a variety of heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of grades, slopes, and site balancing.
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the crew.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job completed!! Thank you NOV Tuboscope, Amelia, LA for the opportunity to do work at your plants. Will return in two weeks for next project in Houma, LA.

Yesterday we(Big Solutions Concrete crew & Grande Solutions driver drove up to Amelia, LA to do a job at the NOV Tuboscope Plant. We had a plan and executed it and job is 95 percent complete. Now haul off all the debris from the demolition. Head back to Texas on Thursday. God is Great!
