A few days ago I made a post offering a free A/C checkup to someone in need. Because of all of you, I ended up helping two families instead of one.

I just wanted to say thank you.

It reminded me of something I’ve been thinking about lately. When your motive isn’t money, but simply to serve someone, something changes. You leave with a full heart instead of just a completed job.

Spending time with these families, listening to their stories, and being able to help without expecting anything in return was a blessing to me as much as it was to them.

Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

Thank you to everyone who shared the post, tagged someone, or reached out. I think this is something we’ll continue to do because our community has been so good to us.

Sometimes the greatest reward isn’t what’s deposited into your bank account. It’s knowing you made someone’s day a little easier.
