This was a weird one!

An Isolated top tank exclusively supplying the kitchen sink. Neither tank ever quite hot enough and the client was told by the previous plumber the HWT was only fed by the well supply, not the cistern.

Our tests revealed: that was a lie!

Jerry Springer call backs aside, we pulled out both tanks, each half full of sediment and plumbed in a new tank, tied in the kitchen sink lines and added a few isolation valves for good measure and now this cabin is up and running with a hot water tank only fed by a clean cistern supply.

Don't forget to flush your tanks, folks!

Don't forget to check your toilets! Cracked porcelain equates to a dangerous throne.

We found these damaged fixtures while installing a new domestic water service main shut off valve. These water closets weren't shimmed fore and aft and after nearly a decade in service the burly guys delivering your beverages did a number on the sub-par install. We're hoping the new installations last a bit longer with proper shims.
