Dare I say… it feels like fall today??

We picked apples, plums, dahlias, basil and tomatoes right before all the rain came. I also made sure to collect seeds! It smells so fresh and crisp outside.

Chase made grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner, a true rainy day classic🍅🧀🍁🍎🌧️🍃

This is what grocery shopping looks like this time of the year! Too many things to list it all. Grateful for all this fresh, delicious and nutritious food that we get to eat. Fruits of our labor for real💛

One of the goals this year was to grow more flowers and we have far exceeded that goal! Our plan is to collect lots of seeds so we have an abundance next year, maybe even open a stand or something🤔

But for now we are learning what grows best, what we like and how to make beautiful arrangements! Growing food is definitely what I’m the most passionate about but I love filling the garden with flowers. Why not make it beautiful? Plus making arrangements is so therapeutic and I love that they turn out a little different every time!

Please share any tips! What flowers do you look for in a bouquet and what do you love to grow?

How did we get so lucky?

We really live in the most beautiful place🌅

We’ve been loving our new herb garden! Not only is it practical but it has also made this space look beautiful.

If you’re new to gardening or just looking to eat more food that you grow yourself, a herb garden is the perfect place to start. We use these herbs in almost all of our meals every single day. Not only is it convenient and delicious, it’s also one of the biggest cost savings at the grocery store! Fresh herbs can be so expensive to buy and the quality usually isn’t great. You just need a small space to get started. A patio, window sill or deck is a great spot🪴🏡🪏🌿

Thank you Cedar Planters for gifting us this new planter!
