Waiting on siding to show up and then we can jump on wrapping up the exterior of this home. Hopefully we have all of our LP Smartside in the next few weeks.

Lake Leelanau house nearly finished with framing. One day left of garage roof sheeting, 2 more days to build the work shop and we will be done and ready to get the shingles on and windows installed.

With planning complete and permits applied for now begins our next build. We are currently waiting on excavation to happen so we can begin the foundation for this home. This home is about 3800 square feet and will be a real head turner when finished. We can’t wait to bring updates as this project progresses.

This residence is nearly complete. We are waiting on gutters and exterior lighting to be wrapped up and it is time for final inspections. The new business environment has made for some challenging adjustments in home building, but we are learning more each day and more importantly still meeting deadlines and making huge smiles with our customers.

Concrete day. This will remind us quickly that we aren’t 30 anymore. Thankfully The Concrete Service has the best drivers. That takes a lot of the back breaking work out of the equation.

We really like this LP Smartside siding and Smart trim. It is very durable, the paint is excellent, and any Sherwin Williams color is avaiable. Builders FirstSource has done another great job of getting us our materials during this time when supplies can be very difficult to get. Another week or so and we will be diving into flooring and interior trim. We are excited to get this home turned over to its owners in the next few months.

Windows are finally here and start getting installed Monday morning. Our doors are not here yet, but should be this week. The plumbing and HVAC rough-in is almost complete, the electrical rough in starts Monday morning as well. Won’t be long and the insulators and drywallers will be going strong inside.

Thank you to Jeff from Attitude and Experience crane service. He is the safest and most trusted crane operator we have ever used, we call on his expertise every time we need crane service. With his help we were able to get this truss set done in just under 4 hours this morning. Having quality companies we can call on when we need specialized services is pretty fantastic.

A little early morning concrete. A big help from Pete at Precise Concrete Pumping Inc and The Concrete Service. Floor turned out fantastic and we can move forward with framing perimeter walls and get the stairs built.

Framing is so much fun, one more day and we will have the exterior walls and a good bit of the interior walls finished. Next week the trusses go on and we can think about turning this house over to the mechanical, plumbing, and electric subs. We are thankful the weather has been excellent and allowed us excellent building weather.
