A partially frozen AC unit from the other day. 🥶 If your AC unit is frozen, turn it off so it can thaw.

Sometimes this can happen due to:

1) Dirty filter → Check filter(s) and replace if it's long overdue
2) Low Refrigerant → Schedule a diagnostic
3) Low to no air flow due to faulty parts → Schedule a diagnostic

Believe it or not, a dirty filter can cause your unit to freeze over like this! This was the cause for the frozen unit pictured.

The rain didn't stop this urgent repair 🚑 This customer needed cold air after their AC stopped working. Their home was 85 degrees and creeping, so we set up a canopy and do what we know.

Working for hours on end in 120+ degree attics, tight and itchy crawl spaces, or in the pouring rain simply comes with the HVAC territory.

Here's what matters and what you should ask if it's time to replace your heating & AC system:

1. Did you calculate my home's load for sizing, or just match my old unit?
2. Will I get a parts and labor warranty and for how long?
3. How many years of experience do you have?
4. Are you or do you work under a LICENSED HVAC contractor?
(IMPORTANT ‼️ A 'certified' HVAC technician alone cannot warranty a new unit nor legally insure their work. 🚫 They MUST be a licensed HVAC contractor (or work under one) and be able to provide their license # per Texas law and regulations)
5. Do you offer financing?
