Most people saw a cracked window sill.

We saw 165 years of history worth preserving.

Behind the masonry were hidden voids, failed repairs, deteriorated mortar, and decades of water infiltration. What appeared to be a simple repair required a careful restoration strategy to protect the building’s integrity while preserving its historic character.

What began as a window sill restoration quickly revealed hidden voids, deteriorated mortar, failed repairs, and decades of water infiltration concealed beneath the surface.
